Rob Liefeld had childhood dream to draw comic books. As a teenager, he fulfilled that dream and began working for Marvel Comics X-men titles and introducing the world to Deadpool, Cable and X-Force! In 1992 Rob launched Image Comics with the debt of the popular Youngblood franchise which has gone on to sell 70 million copies worldwide. Rob was asked by Marvel to re-imagine the classic Marvel heroes, Captain America and the Avengers for a new generation, which lead to the creation of the best selling Heroes Reborn universe. Rob was thrilled to join Phil Hotsenpiller in creating the Armageddon Now series.

Phil Hotsenpiller

Phil Hotsenpiller is the teaching pastor of Yorba Linda Friends Church, a mega church in Southern California. He is the founder and President of New Yokr Executive Coaching Group, and co-author of an eight-part business series entitled Passionate Lives and Leaders. Phil holds a bachelors and Masters degree with additional post-graduate studies at Oxford University. Phil has served as an adjunct professor and traveled and studied extensively throughout Europe. Phil is one of the founding partners of 12 Gates Productions and is the writer of the Armageddon Now! This graphic novel series is a creative and innovative merger of biblical prophesy, super heroes and “ripped from the headlines” news. Armageddon Now! Presents a bold and daring vision of the coming Apocalypse.

Marat Mychaels

Marat grew up in Los Angeles CA, where he first fell in love with comics working as a store clerk at the Golden Apple comic book store. At 13 while at a local comic book convention he met another aspiring young artist Rob Liefeld (16 at the time) the two stuck up a friendship and kept in touch. Years later as Rob Liefeld was working on Marvel Comic’s New Mutants he hired on a fresh out of high school Marat as his assistant. It didn’t take long before Rob realized Marats was ready to step up and start penciling his own book…thus he offered Marat a chance to be Image Comics first rookie and pencil Brigade. Marat has had a long successful career in both comic books and freelancing graphic design.

Digital Color Team

Mike Capprotti is the lead digital painter on Armageddon Now. His work sets the mood and look of this innovative original graphic novel. Mike studied at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia and now resides in Collingswood NJ. He has worked for many top companies including Marvel Comics, Fantasy Flight Games, Alderac Entertainment and Arcana Studios. Mike digitally paints Armageddon Now primarily using Painter, although he uses Photoshop to tweek the final image. The color team also includes the tealents of Emily Warren, Matt Yackey and Matt Swift. of the best selling Heroes Reborn universe. Rob was thrilled to join Phil Hotsenpiller in creating the Armageddon Now series.
